The Cybersecurity Professional Certificate program provides students with the skills and hands-on experience HR departments look for in qualified cybersecurity professionals. We offer internship placement assistance, personal consultation sessions on resumes and interview-skill building, and many other networking opportunities. Do you guarantee job placement?

Job placement is not guaranteed, however, we provide career services to each student during and after the program. Our career services include resume writing and networking profile-building workshops, and mock interview training.

Do I get a degree when I complete the program?

Upon completing our program, students will receive a certificate of completion from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

What positions am I qualified for after I finish the program?

Upon completing our program, students with no prior experience can expect to attain entry-level jobs in the cybersecurity field. These positions can include a cybersecurity systems analyst, cybersecurity analyst, cybersecurity systems associate, security operations center analyst, and more. Students are encouraged to dedicate their out of class time to studying for industry-recognized, cybersecurity certifications that will aid them in landing a job in the field.

What certificates do I need to be a cybersecurity professional?

Our hands-on approach to learning includes simulation labs that prepare you to take some of the most industry-recognized cybersecurity certification exams. These include AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, LPI Linux Essentials, CCNA CyberOps, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, and (ISC)2 SSCP. Acquiring these certifications indicates your skills and abilities to employers as soon as they see your resume.

Do I need prerequisites or experience to apply?

No, there are no prerequisites to enroll. This program was designed to take individuals with little to no experience in technology and prepare them for cybersecurity careers. To succeed in this program, you need only a desire to learn and a passion for technology.

Do I need to bring or buy any supplies?

Yes, you will need to provide your own laptop with the following requirements:
