What is the purpose of the Introductory Course?
Our four-week Introductory Course gives you a solid foundation in cybersecurity and helps you determine if this career path is right for you before committing to the Complete Program.
Can I earn certifications during the bootcamp?
The program prepares you for certification exams, but only the CompTIA® Security+ Certification exam and related fees are included. Other exams and fees are not covered.
Do I earn certifications as part of the bootcamp?
The bootcamp provides a solid foundation for various certification exams, but only the CompTIA® Security+ Certification Exam Prep Course (with an exam voucher) is part of the tuition.
What is TDX Arena?
TDX Arena is our interactive platform where you can grow your offensive and defensive cyber skills in a real-world environment.
How does this bootcamp build experience for the workforce?
Our TDX Arena platform allows you to practice real-world cybersecurity scenarios, giving you hands-on experience that you can showcase to potential employers.
Will I earn a certificate?
Yes, upon completion of the bootcamp, you will receive a certificate of completion, and if you choose to enroll in the CompTIA® Security+ Exam Prep Course, you’ll also receive a voucher for the certification exam.
Is the course content up to date?
Absolutely! We continuously update our curriculum to ensure it covers the latest industry standards, tools, and technologies.
How long is the bootcamp?
The bootcamp begins with a four-week Introductory Course, followed by the 32-week Complete Program. You can also extend your training with an eight-week CompTIA® Security+ Certification Exam Prep Course, totaling up to 44 weeks.
What is the class schedule like?
We offer flexible class schedules, with evening classes held on either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday to fit into your busy life.

Eligibility
Is this bootcamp exclusive to NJIT students or alumni?
No, the NJIT Cybersecurity Professional Bootcamp is open to anyone, regardless of your previous academic or professional background.
Is there an age requirement?
Yes, you must be at least 18 years old to enroll in the bootcamp.
Do I need any previous experience to join?
No, you don’t need a degree or technical experience to enroll. Speak to an Admissions Advisor at (973) 688-5050 to discuss your eligibility.
Can I transfer credits to or from this bootcamp?
No, credits from the NJIT Cybersecurity Professional Bootcamp do not transfer to other courses or degree programs.
What is the enrollment process like?
Begin by scheduling a personal consultation with an Admissions Advisor. You’ll then meet with a Senior Enrollment Advisor to discuss bootcamp details and your career goals before starting the Introductory Course.
Is this program eligible to report for my tax returns?
The courses and training offered by NJIT are for non-credit programs. As a result, per current Treasury Regulations, we do not include information pertaining to those courses on IRS Form 1098-T. For detailed information, consult IRS Publication 970, Tax Benefits for Higher Education.
Financing
What is the cost of the bootcamp?
The tuition is $18,720, with an additional $180 for the Introductory Course. Prices are subject to change.
Are there payment plans or financing options?
Yes, we offer several financing options, including monthly payment plans with 0% interest. You can also apply for personal or private loans. Call (973) 688-5050 for more information.
Do you offer referral discounts?
Yes, if you refer someone, they’ll receive a $1,000 discount on the Complete Program. Terms and conditions apply.

Do you offer job search assistance?
Yes, our curriculum includes career prep training with sessions on optimizing your LinkedIn profile and tailoring your resume. You can also work individually with our Career Outcomes team to develop a job search strategy and receive coaching on both behavioral and technical interviews.
What can I expect from the virtual events?
Throughout the program, you’ll have access to live virtual events such networking events, career fairs, skill-building webinars, industry panels, mock interview days, and workshops.
Do career support services cost extra?
No, all career support services are included in the cost of the Complete Program.
Is job placement guaranteed?
While we provide extensive job search support during and up to six months after the program, we cannot guarantee job placement. Our Career Outcomes team is here to assist you every step of the way.
