400 Program Hours
Starting with our 30-hour Introductory Course, the UI/UX Design Bootcamp spans just under a year with a total of 400 in-class hours. Throughout the program, you will learn practical, theoretical and technical skills to help you enter into the world of design as a qualified professional. You will explore important industry tools, such as Miro for research, Adobe Creative Suite for creating digital assets, Figma to design mockups, HTML and CSS for full-stack development and more.

The fundamentals phase of the curriculum reviews the basics of visual, UI, and UX design to help set the foundation for your design training. Learn to approach projects with a designer mindset while exploring important design tools, such as VR/AR, the IoT, Adobe Creative Cloud, and core UI/UX concepts. -

Like a Designer
In this course, you will learn what it means to think like a designer and be introduced to the larger digital landscape, including IoT, VR/AR and designing for digital products in physical spaces. -
Visual Design Essentials
You will learn the foundations of visual and graphic design, including design principles, history and theory. At the end of the course, you will have a working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. -
UI Design Essentials
In this course, you will build from your visual design knowledge to focus specifically on UI design. You will also learn how to ensure your designs meet the minimum standards in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. -

This phase explores the various ways you can approach a design project and aims to teach you the core fundamentals of the design process. You will examine the various steps in the design process in careful detail, performing tasks related to each aspect to help develop these crucial skills and knowledge. -
UX Design Essentials
In this course, you will learn a variety of deliverables and common UX assets designers create on a daily basis. You will then use information architecture to organize the information of an app or website in a clear way. -
Conducting Research
This course touches on design research methods that ensure you are building a product that fits user, market and business needs. You will learn remote tools such as Miro, Zoom and Otter.ai. -
Ideating & Prototyping
Learn to create sketches and paper prototypes before moving on to low- to mid-fidelity wireframes to rapidly identify viable solutions. -
Usability Testing

Learning to work in teams and with other designers, professionals, or clients is a major aspect of working as a design professional. This phase emphasizes team participation and working with other classmates to help prepare you for a position in the industry. You will also touch on important subjects, such as front-end development and digital marketing. During this phase, you will work on your design portfolio, ultimately developing a professional portfolio you can showcase to potential employers. -
Team Project
During the team project, you will work in small teams to build a product leveraging all of the skills, knowledge and tools you have learned over the program. This project will be featured in your portfolio and gives you a project to showcase your skills during interviews. -
